Ghazouani departs for Egypt to participate in the emergency Arab summit on Palestine

His Excellency, President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, departed Nouakchott early this morning, Monday, heading to Cairo, Egypt, to participate in the emergency Arab summit on the developments of the Palestinian cause.
President Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was bid farewell at Nouakchott International Airport by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Agay, the Presidential Advisors, several government ministers, the President’s Special Armed Forces Commander, the Governor of Nouakchott West, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.
Accompanying His Excellency the President is a high-level delegation that includes:
- Mr. Nani Ould Echrouk, Minister in charge of the Presidency of the Republic;
- Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;
- Mr. El Hussein Ould Dih, Mauritania’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League;
- Mr. Ahmed Ould Nini, Adviser to the Presidency;
- Mr. Ahmed Ould Mohamed Razi, Adviser to the Presidency;
- Mr. El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director-General of State Protocol.
