First Cohort of Safia Center Girls Graduates in Néma with Regional Council Support

The Director of the Office of the Governor of Hodh Ech Chargui, Mr. Sid Mohamed Ould Mohamed Abdallah, supervised on Thursday evening in the city of Néma the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of girls from the Safia Center, with support and sponsorship from the Regional Council of Hodh Ech Chargui.
In a speech delivered on behalf of the Governor, the Director of the Office stated that the Safia Program represents a pioneering experience which, thanks to the effectiveness of its policies, has evolved into a project of public benefit, as recognized by a Cabinet statement. He praised the Regional Council for its support of the project, whose positive outcomes are now evident through the graduation of the first group of beneficiaries.
He explained that the center has enabled the graduates to acquire practical skills in several fields, including agriculture, tailoring, and information technology, while also contributing to combating unemployment and promoting positive social integration.
For his part, the President of the Hodh Ech Chargui Regional Council, Mr. Mohamed Ould Teyjani, expressed his pride in the graduation of this cohort, calling on the girls to continue working diligently in service of their families and society. He also commended the efforts of the local administration and the educational staff of the Safia Center in ensuring the success of the program.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Néma, Mr. Salek Fall Ould Abdelrahmane, expressed his happiness at sharing the joy of graduation with the girls, considering the occasion as the beginning of a new journey marked by dedication and contribution.
