President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani returned to the capital, Nouakchott, on Saturday evening, coming from Rabat after completing a private visit to Morocco.
According to exclusive sources, Ould Ghazouani visited Morocco to check on his wife, Mariam Mohamed Fadel, who recently underwent surgery at a hospital in Rabat.
During his visit to Morocco, Ould Ghazouani met with King Mohammed VI in a meeting that was the first of its kind.
