On Thursday, His Excellency Amidi Camara presented his letters of credence to His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, in his capacity as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to South Africa.
His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed to the President the greetings of His Excellency Mohamed Ould Sheikh El Ghazouani, President of Mauritania, wishing him continued health and happiness and expressing hopes for progress and prosperity for the brotherly South African people.
In response, the President of South Africa conveyed his greetings to the President of Mauritania, praising the excellent relations between the two countries and highlighting the strength of their ongoing bilateral cooperation.
The credential presentation ceremony was attended by Ms. Boudy Sou, Counselor at the Mauritanian Embassy in Pretoria, along with several members of the office of the President of South Africa.
