His Excellency Mr. Ael Ould El-Ferk, Minister of Equipment and Transport, accompanied by Mr. Ahmedn Ould Sidi Ab, Wali of Trarza, conducted a field visit on Friday to the road section connecting Kermessin and Angako Port, which is expected to end the isolation of the port and surrounding villages.
In a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, the Minister confirmed that construction on this route has reached its final stages, expressing hope that it will be completed before the National Independence Day.
He explained that the delay in completing the works was due to the rainy season and the challenges it poses for infrastructure projects, highlighting the ongoing efforts to overcome these obstacles and ensure the project is finished as soon as possible.
