Ministerial Committee Meeting Reviews Progress on Major Projects

The Prime Ministry building hosted today, Tuesday, the regular meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with monitoring the implementation of major projects, chaired by His Excellency Prime Minister Mr. Mokhtar Ould Daddah.
During the meeting, the progress of government projects in November was reviewed, with technical presentations highlighting a notable improvement in the pace of execution.
The presentation on the emergency program for the development of Nouakchott indicated a completion rate of 73%, while only 62% of the scheduled time had elapsed, reflecting good progress in implementation.
As for the emergency program for access to basic services for local development, the completion rate reached 12% compared to just 6% of the allocated time, demonstrating a strong start and active progress.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for close monitoring and field supervision, in line with the directives of His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to ensure that all projects are completed within contractual deadlines and aligned with the commitments, guaranteeing quality and adherence to approved technical standards.
