President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani Departs for Riyadh to Attend 9th Future Investment Initiative Forum

His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani departed Nouakchott on Thursday evening, heading to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative Forum, scheduled to take place in Riyadh on Monday, 27 October 2025.

At Nouakchott International Airport (Oumtounsi), the President was seen off by a high-level delegation including: Prime Minister His Excellency Mokhtar Ould Dahi, Secretary-General of the Presidency Mr. Moulay Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, Presidential Advisors Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallah Bin Bih and Ms. Aissatou Ba Yahya, Minister of Justice Mr. Mohamed Ould Esweidat, Minister of Defense, Retiree, and Martyrs Affairs Mr. Hanan Ould Sidi, Minister of Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Al-Amin, Chief of Staff to the President General Mohamed Mokhtar Cheikh Meni, Deputy Director of the Presidential Office Ms. Gandiga Fatimata, Governor of Western Nouakchott Mr. Amrbih Robb Ould Bounen Ould Abidine, and President of Nouakchott Region Ms. Fatima Bint Abdelmalek.

Accompanying His Excellency the President is a distinguished delegation, including:

  • Mr. Nani Ould Achrouqeh, Minister in charge of the Presidential Office;
