The Government Begins Implementing Development Priorities in Hodh El Gharbi
The Minister of Water and head of the ministerial delegation to Hodh El Gharbi, Amel Mint Maouloud, announced that the government will begin implementing most of the priority demands discussed during the regional development planning forum in the state this year.
In her remarks at the forum’s closing ceremony on Tuesday, the minister stated that the government would also study the remaining proposals for inclusion in future plans, emphasizing the special attention given by the authorities to Hodh El Gharbi and its development needs.
Extensive Discussions and Comprehensive Plans
In a post on its official Facebook page, the Ministry of Water noted that the regional development planning forum, which lasted for two days, featured extensive discussions and valuable presentations by district governors, local officials, and citizens.
The ministry highlighted that the discussions aimed to create a comprehensive vision addressing the developmental needs of the state. Key topics included education, healthcare, agriculture, and the environment, along with improvements to daily services directly affecting citizens’ lives.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to fostering local development and meeting the aspirations of Hodh El Gharbi’s residents.
