The President of the Chamber of Commerce participates in a forum for entrepreneurs in Bahrain

Sheikh Al-Aafiya Ould Mohamed Khouna, the President of the Mauritanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, participated in the 2024 Global Forum for Entrepreneurs and Investment held in Manama, Bahrain.

According to a press release from the chamber, the forum featured several workshops addressing topics such as building sustainable partnerships, creating a brighter future for Arab and African entrepreneurs, smart and sustainable financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and innovation-driven environmental systems.

The forum also discussed investment pathways for achieving sustainable development goals, the role of digital transformation in entrepreneurship and innovation, and encouraging women’s entrepreneurship in the industrial sector.

The chamber further noted that its president held discussions with the Assistant Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Chief Director of Global Partnerships and External Relations, as well as the Special Representative to the Director-General of the UN agency, exchanging views on fruitful cooperation and purposeful partnerships to address common interests.

Additionally, Sheikh Al-Aafiya Ould Mohamed Khouna conducted discussions with many heads and members of delegations participating in the forum, focusing on the existing relations between their various entities and the Mauritanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, as well as ways to enhance them.
