Launch of Ramadan Revival Activities in Assaba Under the Supervision of the Wali

The Wali of Assaba, Mr. Ahmedou Addahi Akhtira, on Friday evening supervised the launch of the annual Ramadan revival activities at the Grand Mosque in Kiffa. The program is organized by the Regional Directorate of Islamic Affairs and Original Education at the state level.

The Regional Director of Islamic Affairs and Original Education in Assaba, Mr. Babteh Ould Moulaye Eshrif, stated that the Ramadan revival program includes a series of lectures delivered by prominent Mahadra scholars and mosque imams. These lectures will address various religious topics, particularly the rulings and virtues of fasting during the holy month. He added that sessions will be held daily throughout Ramadan, each focusing on a renewed religious theme.

The event commenced with a lecture titled “Fasting: Its Rulings and Virtues,” delivered by Imam El Ghassem Ould Mohamed. The lecture highlighted key jurisprudential rulings related to fasting, as well as its spiritual merits and proper observances.

The launch ceremony was attended by the Hakem of Kiffa District, Mr. Ali Ahmedou El Hussein, the Chief of Staff of the Wali of Assaba, the Imam of the Grand Mosque in Kiffa, and senior security officials from across the state.
