Ministry of Education Announces Regional Committees for Educational Reform Oversight
The Ministry of Education and Educational System Reform has announced the establishment of regional vigilance and monitoring committees. These committees are tasked with overseeing the regional implementation of educational reforms and ensuring their execution with strictness and responsibility.
According to a joint circular signed by the Minister of Education and the Minister of Interior, the committees are also responsible for preparing for the 2024-2025 school year, which includes necessary preparations, repairs, and renovations.
The circular further specifies that the committees will ensure the availability of mechanisms to guarantee the actual presence of teaching and administrative staff, as well as students, to ensure that classes commence on the first day of the school year, October 7, 2024.
Additionally, these committees will oversee the strict enforcement of regulations concerning transfers and promotions, as well as the management of school maps in accordance with legal requirements. They will also ensure adherence to mandatory school uniforms.
The circular confirms the continuation of the decision to not require students and their guardians to present paper documents for civil status.
Furthermore, the circular mandates that the committees provide water and electricity services and ensure the availability of security personnel for educational institutions.
