Prime Minister Khattar Ould Ajay Chairs Ministerial Committee Meeting and Approves Awarding the Solar Power Plant Contract to IWAFRICA

His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Daddah, chaired today, Tuesday, a meeting of the Ministerial Committee in charge of the public-private partnership, held in the meeting hall of the Prime Ministry building. During the meeting, the technical committee’s proposal was discussed, which was prepared in accordance with the recommendations made by the ministerial committee in its last session concerning the solar and/or wind power plant project, following the completion of negotiations with the leading project partner.

After reviewing and discussing the proposal, the ministerial committee issued its decision to approve the technical committee’s recommendation to award the contract for the operation of a 60-megawatt solar and/or wind power plant to IWAFRICA, the entity that submitted the best offer, following the amendment of the offer in response to the observations raised during the meeting.
