Real Madrid Tops Global Rankings for Shirt Sponsorship Revenue

Spanish football giant Real Madrid has retained its position as the club with the highest shirt sponsorship income in the world, thanks to a lucrative partnership with Adidas worth €120 million per year. The club also earns an additional €140 million annually through equal sponsorship deals with Emirates Airlines and HP, the global electronics leader.
Manchester City Closes the Gap with Record-Breaking Deal
Manchester City has climbed to second place on the list after signing a historic sponsorship agreement—the largest in the history of the English Premier League—with German sportswear brand Puma. The deal is worth a staggering €1.15 billion over 10 years, translating to €115 million per season.
This groundbreaking contract allowed City to surpass their local rivals Manchester United in the shirt sponsorship revenue rankings. The club now generates €210.5 million annually from shirt sponsorships, broken down as follows:
- €115 million from Puma,
- €74 million from Etihad Airways,
- €21.5 million from crypto platform OKX, whose logo appears on the sleeve.
The new Puma deal marks a significant jump from the previous contract signed in 2019, which was valued at €76 million per year.
Manchester United Slides to Third Despite Strong Branding
Manchester United now sits third, with annual sponsorship income of €200 million, thanks to its deals with Adidas, Snapdragon, and DXC Technology, a global IT and consulting firm.
