The Consultative Council of Tawasoul Party holds its first regular session for the year 2025.

The National Consultative Council of the Rally for Reform and Development Party (Tawasoul) held its first regular session for the year 2025 in Nouakchott on Friday evening.
In his speech on the occasion, the party’s president, Mr. Hamadi Ould Sidi Mokhtar, affirmed the party’s conviction that dialogue is the way to resolve political disputes. He emphasized that they have repeatedly confirmed their initial readiness for any serious dialogue that is conducted in a fully participatory manner, starting with partnership in the committees overseeing and preparing it, continuing with defining the content and mechanisms, and ending with following up on the implementation of the outcomes.
He stated that the unity and brotherhood of the people are top priorities, and preserving them is the responsibility of everyone, regardless of their positions and stances. He pointed out that the role of the authorities in this matter is the most crucial, and their responsibility is the greatest. It is their duty to ensure societal harmony and unity by establishing justice, removing injustices, and ensuring that the law is applied to all without exception or favoritism.
The Chairman of the party’s National Consultative Council, Mr. Mohamed Ould Ibrahim, previously reviewed the agenda for the session, which includes discussing the general performance report on the party’s organizational and administrative level, the political report that addresses the political situation and the latest developments, in addition to the oversight report prepared by the council’s presidency, and the reference vision document that will be adopted in a joint meeting between the Political Bureau and the Council during the session.
He stated that the Rally for Reform and Development Party will continue, as it always has, to prioritize the country’s interests and future. The party remains positively engaged with all calls for reform and efforts aimed at building and establishing a state of law and institutions that serve the citizen, safeguard his interests and security, and defend his principles, values, and sacred beliefs.
