The fourth group of our esteemed pilgrims is heading to the Holy Land.

The fourth group of our esteemed pilgrims, numbering 420, departed from the capital, Nouakchott, this Monday evening, heading to the Holy Land to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the Hijri year 1446.

This group will join their predecessors in Medina to perform the Arbaeen prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque before proceeding to Mecca to carry out the Hajj rituals.

The farewell ceremony for this group at Nouakchott International Airport was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Traditional Education, Mr. Baytallah Ould Ahmed Lasoud, along with a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and military and security authorities at the airport.
