The President of the Constitutional Council meets with the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Mauritania.

Mr. Adialo Mamadou Batia, President of the Constitutional Council, received on Monday afternoon in his office Her Excellency Ms. Leila Peters Yahya, the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System in Mauritania.

The discussion focused on human rights in Mauritania and the constitutional guarantees for their protection.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Binta Mint Khallas, the Secretary-General of the Council, and Mrs. Khadija Mint Sidi Boubacar, the Assistant to the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System.
