Razer’s innovative wireless headset for gamers
Razer has unveiled its latest wireless gaming headset, the “BlackShark V2 Pro,” designed to meet the needs of gaming enthusiasts. The American company clarified that the BlackShark V2 Pro wireless headset is compatible with desktop computers as well as gaming consoles like Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation, each version operating on its respective operating system.
From a technical standpoint, there’s little difference between the new models, with the new wireless headset connecting to gaming devices via the USB-C receiver unit to ensure low latency during video game sessions.
The company also affirmed the ability to use Bluetooth technology when pairing the wireless headset with smartphones, supporting Bluetooth 5.2, AAC, and SBC technologies, making it usable with tablets and Mac devices without any issues.
Additionally, the unidirectional microphone unit can be detached to use the headset conventionally for music listening.
The headset features 50mm drivers operating at frequencies ranging from 12 Hz to 28 kHz, supporting Sony PlayStation 5’s Tempest 3D Audio technology and Microsoft Xbox’s Windows Sonic.
The aim of the headset is to provide a comfortable experience for gamers, boasting up to 70 hours of battery life and comfortable pads to enhance comfort during long gaming sessions. Though lacking active noise cancellation functionality, it effectively reduces noise.
