The Mauritanian Minister of the Interior receives the Director General of Civil Protection at the European Union to strengthen bilateral cooperation

His Excellency the Minister of the Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Elamine, received today, Tuesday, at his office, His Excellency Mr. Maciej Popowski, the Director General of Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations at the European Union, accompanied by the Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Mauritania.

During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Mauritania and the European Union were discussed, especially in areas related to the responsibilities of the Ministry of the Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry, Mr. Abdel Rahmane Ould El-Hassan, attended the meeting.
