SOMELEC has announced scheduled temporary electricity outages in several neighborhoods of the capital, Nouakchott, on Saturday, due to planned maintenance work on the distribution network.
In a statement, the company explained that the works aim to improve the quality and continuity of electricity services, noting that the outage will last for five hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The outages will affect the areas of Carrefour Lekbeid, Bakkar, Am Qessar, Souk Makka, Bakkala Allah Akbar, as well as Carrefours A, B, and E.
