The government appoints a leader for an institution he took charge of 10 days ago


During its meeting on Thursday, the government appointed Colonel Othmane Bakar Soueid Ahmed as the new commander of the “Polytechnic” complex in Nouakchott, a position he officially assumed 10 days ago.
Colonel Soueid Ahmed took over from his predecessor, retired Colonel Mohamed Mohamed Mahmoud, in a ceremony held on Tuesday, January 7, at the “Polytechnic” headquarters.
The handover ceremony was overseen by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohamed Vall Al-Rais, in the presence of the Commander of the Infrastructure Division, Colonel Tiam Mamadou, the Central Director of the Commission, Colonel Taleb Mohamed Amin, and the Assistant Commander of the Training Division, Colonel Ahmed Al-Bakkai.
Colonel Soueid Ahmed assumed his leadership role at the educational complex following his appointment by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and the government later confirmed his appointment during its meeting yesterday.
