Mauritania and Algeria are preparing to sign an executive program for joint cooperation in higher education and scientific research, covering the years 2025, 2026, and 2027.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Yakoub Ould Amin, left the capital, Nouakchott, on Sunday night, heading to Algeria to sign this program.
Ould Amin received an invitation from his Algerian counterpart to undertake a two-day visit.
The minister is accompanied by his advisor, Mohamed Amin Ould Ahmed Zeidan, and the Director of Guidance and Scholarships, Sodfi Ould Al-Sakhawi.
