Mauritania Explores Cooperation with the World Tourism Organization

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of Mauritania, Amadou Ki Tekani, and the Deputy Director-General of the National Tourism Office, Mohamed Amin Ould Sidina, held a meeting at the headquarters of the World Tourism Organization in Madrid, Spain, to enhance international cooperation and develop the tourism sector in Mauritania.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen the tourism infrastructure in Mauritania, exchange technical and administrative expertise, and develop innovative marketing strategies aimed at attracting tourists from around the world.

The discussion also covered the prospects for cooperation between Mauritania and the organization, highlighting the importance of expanding technical and investment cooperation in the tourism sector.

The Mauritanian officials emphasized the significance of this meeting, expressing their readiness to welcome more tourists and establish partnerships with the World Tourism Organization, in line with the future aspirations of the tourism sector in Mauritania.
