The Foreign Relations Committee Discusses Draft Law No. 043-24 on the African Export Development Fund

On Sunday, the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly, chaired by Committee President MP Falleh Sidna Ali Mini, held a meeting to discuss Draft Law No. 043-24. This law aims to approve the statute of the African Export Development Fund (FEDA Holding Co.), signed in Nouakchott on January 6, 2021.

The fund seeks to enhance African exports by providing financial support to companies and facilitating intra-African trade, as well as trade with the rest of the world.

During the discussion of the draft law, committee members offered their observations, submitted various suggestions, and raised several questions.

In response, His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid Ahmed Abouh, provided detailed answers and explanations regarding the objectives and provisions of Draft Law No. 043-24.
