The Minister of Economy and Finance, Sid Ahmed Ould Abah, has left Nouakchott heading to the United States of America.
He is scheduled to meet with U.S. officials and sign a financing agreement in Washington with the CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
According to official information, this agreement is part of the partnership program that Mauritania has established with this U.S. agency, which specializes in supporting and promoting development in developing countries.
Ould Abah will then travel to Saudi Arabia to participate in the Islamic Development Bank Governors’ Forum.
The forum will discuss the new strategic plan of the Islamic Development Bank for the period 2026-2035.
