Conclusion of the Employment and Vocational Training Salon Activities

The Employment and Training Salon, organized by the Services Federation of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers in collaboration with the Ministries of Youth Empowerment, Employment, Sports, Civil Service, Vocational Training, and Handicrafts, as well as technical and financial partners, concluded this Wednesday evening at the International Conference Center in Nouakchott.
The event provided a platform for public and private sector actors, as well as job seekers, to exchange views on various employment-related topics, such as regulations, training, and access to financing.
In his closing speech, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Mr. Najy Ould Khatri, emphasized that this edition was in response to the policies being implemented by the government under the supervision of Prime Minister Mr. Mokhtar Ould Dahi.
He added that this edition facilitated intensive exchanges of ideas and resulted in recommendations that will be considered in government policies.
The Advisor to the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers, Mr. Sidi Ould Abdullah, confirmed that the salon served as an important platform for the convergence of different opinions, highlighting the private sector’s interest in employment and its pivotal role in this field.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Vocational Training, Handicrafts, and Industry.
