The new board of the Syndicate of Frameworks and Employees of the Ministry of Finance assumes its duties.
The new board of the Syndicate of Frameworks and Employees of the Ministry of Finance officially assumed its duties on Sunday evening, during a ceremony held at the “Fisk” Hotel in Nouakchott.
The newly elected president, Mohamed Mokhtar Mohamed Mahmoud Ould El Wafi, known as Khaled, took over leadership of the syndicate from his predecessor, Mohamed Akyeh.
During the event, the outgoing president highlighted the syndicate’s achievements over the past years and outlined the challenges ahead. He extended his congratulations to the new board and wished them success in their endeavors.
The incoming president, Mohamed Mokhtar Ould El Wafi, expressed the syndicate’s aspiration for a true partnership with the country’s leadership to enhance governance and cooperation.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from several organizations and unions, including the Judges’ Club, Unions of Court Clerks, Chief Court Clerks, the Association of Interior Ministry Administrators, the Labor Inspectors’ Union, the Professional Diplomats’ Association, and the Union of Journalist Writers.
Established in 2021, the Syndicate of Frameworks and Employees of the Ministry of Finance has organized numerous events and seminars since its inception. These include a seminar on financial reforms paving the way for the implementation of program-based budgets and another on land reform, addressing challenges and proposing solutions, with an emphasis on integrating property ownership into the economic cycle.
